PLA MATTE BLACK · 1.75MM · NON-REFLECTIVE SURFACE
PLA 3D Printing Filament in matte black, 1.75 mm diameter. The matte formulation scatters light instead of reflecting it, so layer lines are far less visible on the finished print - without sanding, priming, or coating. For customer-facing prototypes, display models, and housing samples, that is often the difference between a part that looks 3D-printed and one that looks finished straight off the bed.
Diameter tolerance is ±0.02 mm, checked by laser micrometer at 40 points per meter on our extrusion line. Roundness is 95% or above. In practice, that means fewer extrusion gaps, more consistent interlayer bonding, and less variation in wall width across long unattended prints. The filament runs at 195–220°C nozzle and 50–65°C bed, compatible with both all-metal and PTFE-lined hotends. No heated enclosure is needed - PLA shrinkage is low enough that most parts hold flat on PEI or glass at room temperature.
Each spool is machine-wound with controlled tension to prevent the tangle issues that ruin overnight prints, then vacuum-sealed with a silica gel desiccant pack before going into the export carton.
